Planet Goalie was established to provide goaltenders a true and legitimate way of buying goalie equipment. Planet Goalie is not a big box store with multiple categories, we are one category - goalie; which ensures that the consumer will be treated with the one on one experience that goalies need. Goalies in general do not receive the kind of specialized attention and service that other areas of the hockey world are accustomed to. Goalies are a special and unique breed of player that need the specialized and personal attention when buying their equipment. Planet Goalies mission is to make sure that every goalie is provided with this personal attention. At Planet Goalie you are a name with very unique needs, not a number or a target to get rid of old, outdated equipment.

Planet Goalie is owned, managed and staffed by only goalies. Many of these goalies are also now goalie parents. Being a goalie and being a goalie parent can provide two very different perspectives when buying goalie gear, since we have experience in both sides of being a goalie and also being goalie parents, we have the ability to bridge the gap between the two and create a great experience for everyone involved. Planet Goalie cares about the needs a goalie parent and goalie may have in this category.

We know that goalies speak a language that is only known by goalies (goalies only speak one language - goalie). If you are not a goalie, this language can seem like it is from another planet, therefore Planet Goalie was created to give goalies there very own place in the hockey market.
