Retail Location

Planet Goalie is located in Central Pennsylvania, ten minutes from the famous Hershey Bears. Our retail location is a full service goalie store. At Planet Goalie, not only do we incorporate a traditional retail setting, we also have a synthetic sheet of ice with demo gear and video analysis equipment. The goalie consumer can come into Planet Goalie, try on gear and get a real feel for the what they are buying. By trying on different types of equipment, this gives the goalie the opportunity to find the perfect piece of equipment.

Too many times a goalie will go into a store and the salesman will sell only what they like or what the store wants to get rid of. By having a setting where different gear can be tried on and demo'd, we feel that not only will the goalie end up with exactly what meets their individual needs - both technically and cosmetically, but it will give the manufactures and even playing field to sell their equipment. Goalie equipment is very personalized and should not be sold because of the personal agenda of a salesman, it should be based on the needs of that particular goalie.

Planet Goalie also has video analysis system, goalies can see what the gear will look like when they re trying gear on. This maximizes the buying experience by allowing a goaltender to use our synthetic ice surface while wearing full gear. Planet Goalie has monitors on the synthetic surface so a goalie customer can analyze the equipment. This method gives the consumer a true look at how the equipment will look and perform.
